How does StorageVault Containers work?

It’s simple and easy to reserve a container! We deliver containers directly to your door. If you require storage for your belongings, you can choose to keep the container on your property, or we can move it to one of our secure storage facilities for you.

Are StorageVault Containers weather resistant?

Yes! StorageVault Containers are designed with a steel frame used to ensure your valuables remain safe.

How are StorageVault Containers delivered?

StorageVault Containers has developed a horizontal delivery system which minimizes shifting of contents inside the container during transportation, and our delivery team is trained to handle your container with proper care and consideration.

It is very important that your belongings are packed securely with appropriate supplies and moving boxes.

Getting started is easy! Simply call the toll-free line to speak with a StorageVault Containers Advisor who will help take care of your container rental over the telephone and set a delivery date that works best for you. We only require a bit of information and will be sure to answer any questions you may have. Availability is limited, so be sure to get your storage needs taken care of today!

Can I keep my StorageVault Containers onsite with me?

Absolutely. Your StorageVault Containers can stay onsite with you for as long as needed.

How much clearance is required to deliver a container?

In order to place a container on a property, we require a clearance of 12 feet wide and 15 feet high with no overhanging branches or wires. If drop off is at an apartment complex, clients are responsible to secure approvals from property management, and to schedule elevator times as needed. Clients must also ensure adequate clearance and accessibility for the desired location of the container.

Does PUPS Containers offer secure offsite storage?

Yes. With our fast and easy service, having your container moved into storage is as easy as a phone call. With PUPS Containers, you choose the solution that works best, for you!

Will my belongings shift within the container when it’s being moved?

No. Our containers are delivered using a horizontal loading and unloading system designed to protect your belongings to keep your container level during transportation, protecting your belongings every step of the way. However, properly packing your own belongings is still essential.

Can StorageVault Containers connect me with local moving help?

Yes! We provide a free Concierge Moving Service to connect you to trusted, professional movers in your area. And since each of our referral partners has been recommended by other clients, you can be sure you’ll be getting the most trusted help available.

Does StorageVault Containers provide moving and packing supplies?

We certainly do! Whether you need moving boxes, tape or protective wrap, we offer all the packing supplies you need to get started and stay organized.

How big are your containers?

We offer 3 different container sizes: 10’, 16’ and 20’.  

Our PUPS containers are 10’ and 16’. The containers are dropped off, filled up, and then moved to your new home.  

Our StorageVault containers are 20" containers act as temporary storage. These containers are for businesses and they cannot be moved when full. We drop the container off and pick it up once it is empty and the business is done with it.

Does StorageVault Containers pick-up and deliver on weekends?

StorageVault Containers generally deliver during weekdays – Monday to Friday. RC is open 7 days weekly.

Can I specify when my container will be delivered?

While we try to accommodate each customer’s unique need, we are unable to specify a container delivery time.

Do I need to be present when the container is delivered?

No. You are not required to be present when the container is delivered. However, we do recommend that someone is present if possible. Deliveries and pick-ups are scheduled any time after 7am, so you must ensure there is adequate clearance and accessibility within the desired location of the container by 7am on delivery/pick up day. To ensure the container is available when required, be sure to have your container delivered the day before you plan on loading/unloading it.

How should the container be packed for long-distance travel?

To ensure that nothing is damaged during the move, we advise you to pack your container as tightly as possible. This will maximize storage space, prevent items from shifting, and save you money!

If I need storage, where will my container be stored?

StorageVault Containers has secure storage sites across Canada that are designed to safely store your belongings until you need them. StorageVault Containers will select a location for storage based on your unique needs!

Can I extend the amount of time I keep the container?

Yes, you can rent the container for as long as you need it. We offer total flexibility with our plans, so if you wish to extend yours, feel free! As for pricing, you will continue to be billed each month you have the container in your possession until it is emptied and you contact us to pick it up.

If I need to cancel, will I be refunded?

Yes, so long as you cancel by 4 pm local time on the day before your delivery otherwise a cancellation fee may be charged. In all cases, to cancel a delivery, you must speak with an Associate at 855-833-2530.

Do I have a time limit for loading or unloading the container?

No. StorageVault Containers offers monthly rentals so you can pack and unload at your own pack. The billing cycle begins the day the container is delivered to you and continues through the next 28 days (4-week) cycle.

When will I be billed for my move?

You will be billed 1 day before your Initial delivery or re-delivery service date. Monthly rental charges will be billed on your anniversary date.

How do I check my account balance?

You can check your account balance online by logging into your account, clicking the View My Invoices tab.

When is my storage rent due?

Rent for the containers is due the day the container is delivered and will continue on the anniversary date on a monthly billing cycle thereafter until you have emptied and returned the container. You will be billed again after the 4-week cycle ends.

We accept all major credit cards and automatic payment (Discover and ACH is not accepted in Canada) You can also pay your rent through your online account.

How do I make a payment?

StorageVault Containers accept most major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. cycle starts the day of initial delivery and continues every 28 days thereafter.

What is an extra non-paved surface fee?

An extra non-paved surface fee covers the extra labor needed to have the equipment operate properly on that surface.

Can I use a credit card that isn’t in my name or does it have to be the same name as the order?

When placing an order, you must be an authorized user of the credit card. If you are using a card that isn’t in your name, we will need to speak to the cardholder.
